Eimear is a graduate of the UCD School of physiotherapy. In 2021 she completed her MSc in Sports and Exercise medicine in Trinity College Dublin.
Over the past number of year’s Eimear has worked with numerous sports teams providing pitch side care and advising on rehab programmes and injury management strategies. She has a passion for women’s health physiotherapy with a particular interest in female athletes/runners and RED-S in females. Her MSc thesis investigated the prevalence of the female athlete triad in collegiate athletes in Trinity College.
Eimear enjoys working with a wide variety of clients ranging from adolescents, to female athletes/runners to the general public. Her areas of specialty include the treatment of back and neck pain, sports related injuries and women’s health issues. She is a qualified STOTT Pilates instructor and teaches Pilates classes at the clinic.
Outside of physio Eimear is a successful long distance runner. She is a former ladies captain of UCD athletics club and has competed internationally in marathons. In 2021 she ran her first sub 3 hour marathon in the Cheshire elite marathon in England. She also enjoys playing golf and GAA and is a keen supporter of Sligo GAA!
