
Sean qualified with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin. Since graduating he has worked in various private practices as well as the Sports Surgery Clinic where he completed an internship following his graduation. Sean has a special interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy in particular injuries regarding the spine and nerve related pain. He also has a keen interest in sports related injuries and has provided treatment to athletes of all levels through his work in both clinics and team environments.
Due to his background in GAA he understands the rehabilitation process from both the athlete’s and physiotherapist’s point of view. He has gained experience working pitchside with athletes in GAA, soccer and rugby. Sean incorporates the principles of strength and conditioning when developing rehabilitation programmes and believes that this is an integral part of injury prevention and management.
